Strike – Dance – Rise. What a powerful way to come together as a community in SD and around the world to generate awareness and to work together to stop violence against women. Right on!

  2. The Mayor of San Diego, Bob Filner, signed our Proclamation “…BE IT RESOLVED, THAT I, BOB FILNER, the 35th Myor of the City of San Diego, do hereby proclaim, February 14, 2013, to be “One Billion Rising Campaign Day” in the City of San Diego to honor V-Day and raise awareness to stop violence against women and girls.” Also, he will be marching with us through Downtown SD to show his support and give weight to his proclamation!!

    • Brings tears to my eyes, joy to my heart, to watch and listen to these people’s sincere expression of conviction and commitment to ending violence to women NOW, today, always. Thank you, One and All for all of your efforts.

  3. Carol Council says:

Hurray for you Bob! It’s good to have a feminist mayor joining us in the fight to stop violence against women. Walk the talk, EVERYBODY.
